Tattoo Removal

Remove Those Tattoos Seamlessly

Whether you want to remove a tattoo from which you regret or you are removing existing tattoos to make room for new ink, laser tattoo removal is a safe and effective way to get rid of body art permanently. Not all tattoo removal is the same; Dr. Verduzco is one of the best in Mexico.

Laser removal is the safest method of elimination: other methods such as acid injection, tattoo removal creams and IPL laser are ineffective or unsafe. If you want to remove your tattoos safely and permanently, laser removal is the best option.

Spectra’s Nd: YAG Q-switches are the most commonly used laser for tattoo removal. During the treatment, the pulses of laser light are directed to the tattoo, breaking the pigment. Over the next few weeks, the body’s immune system removes laser treated skin and removes specific pigmented areas. With the available Q-switches Nd: YAG laser, you can effectively treat dark inks, specifically black inks (which represent more than half of all body art), blue and green ink. Different wavelengths are used to treat inks of red, orange, yellow and other colors.

Older tattoos are easier to remove since the body has already absorbed part of the pigment from the ink over time. The new body art will require more sessions to completely eliminate the tattoo. Patients should expect to return for several treatments to achieve the expected results. The posterior care of the area is the key to avoid infections and scars, and to achieve the best results.

How Does Removal Of Laser Tattoos Work?

Tattoo ink and natural pigmentation, such as melanin, absorb short-duration Q-switching pulses / high-energy Q pulses so quickly that they create a luminous energy effect within the groups of pigments.

This effect breaks down the ink into much smaller particles that can be removed more easily with the body’s natural filtering system. The greater the contrast between the color of the ink and the tone of the skin, the greater the results.

After the laser treatment sessions, the body will take several weeks to naturally remove the pigmented areas of the tattoo. You should see a dramatic decrease in your tattoo between treatment sessions, with the ultimate goal of removing the tattoo in 10 sessions or less.
